Welcome to my OBX page!

Intro page

I have started this page because every time I go to visit Nags Head on North Carolina's Outer Banks, I fall in love with that beach all over again!!

I think I might just publish my 2004 OBX experiences here on this page as well as on my ScienceWeather community. I have some of my OBX experiences on this page at the above community that is the forum for this website. I will probably link to a few threads on other bulletin boards where I have posted about my OBX experiences as well.

Alright, first I have to begin with my Beach jebwalks. A jebwalk is simply a fancy name for an ordinary walk. I am quite obsessed with walking. Beach walks first came to be called jebwalks during the 2003 Outer Banks beach trip, but I now refer to ALL walks as jebwalks. The main reason I go to the beach in the first place is because I love to enjoy long, leisurely jebwalks along the beach.

Then there are my friends. I love to hang out with them at the OBX. Beach jebwalks are really cool, but coming back to the beach cottage to all my cherished friends is something that has to be experienced and savored. You haven't lived until you've kicked back with a whole bunch of rowdy, wild and crazy friends that you can play football with and play all sorts of games with!

Good friends are an invaluable part of a good beach trip. When you are tired of walking around or the weather turns rotten, like if there is a thunderstorm, then you can cut up and have fun with your beach friends.

Then there is the music. When you go to the beach, don't EVER leave home without a bunch of head-bangin' CDs and a state of the art headphone system to blast them on. Bring a kick-butt ghetto blaster too. Make sure it can blast the tunes out at at least 150 watts per channel. Sure it'll wake up the neighbors! Hey, the OBX is a Party Beach!!! The more, the merrier, I always say!!
